Our Christmas gift from Grammy and Papa this year was a trip to Disneyland!
Riding into the park for the first time on the monorail.
Lu and Auntie Annah enjoying Small World decorated for the holidays.
| The kids were elated to see cousin Laura. |
| The teacups. A classic. |
On day two, we went to the California Adventure Park.
| Gus seemed to enjoy the Ferris wheel at the time, but he later told us it was the scariest ride (we were in one of the swinging carriages)! |
| The Ferris wheel freaked mom out a little...I held on tight to Lu each time we swung. When it stopped swinging, Lu told me I could let go because it was done swinging... |
The kids
were not into the characters. Gus wouldn't get near Jake--one of his
favorites. Lu let Daddy take her over, but she wasn't entirely happy
about it.
| Luci loved the parade. I think this is where she was watching the girl
swinging around 20 feet up in the air. Taking notes, undoubtedly. |
| We had dinner at Ariel's Grotto, which got us some prime seats for the light show that evening. |
| Heading back to Disneyland for day three. |
| Luci gets a lift from Papa and Uncle Ben. |
| Waiting for the castle lighting. Gus and Daddy were at the park for 13 hours straight this day... |
| By the time the castle lighting was done, they were tired of posing for me... |
We hung out in Downtown Disney on our final day.
The Lego Store was a big hit.
| Hanging out in the ESPN Zone. |
Mom put Lu on the moped...
| ...but she had other ideas. |
Thanks Grammy and Papa!
