We were headed to Redding for a family event, and decided to make a little vacation of it at a cabin on the Trinity River over in Lewiston.
The cabin backed up right to the river, so Adam took the kids on a couple early morning fishing excursions.
It was cold and frosty in the mornings, so hot chocolate was required after fishing.
The cabin had some fun tree swings...
...and gopher holes.
Kona loved jumping in the river for his ball...until it got caught in a current and swept downstream...
Unfortunately, we didn't catch any fish, though not for lack of trying.
