| Lighting the first candle to mark the beginning of Advent. |
December was a busy, fun-filled month at the CoHo...
In addition to
our trip to Disneyland and
Christmas Eve and
Christmas Day,
we had a lot going on this month! One of our favorite activities was a
live nativity at a church in Santa Clara (which we didn't get any
pictures of--but it involved a camel, donkey, the whole shebang). It
will definitely be a tradition.
 |
| We kicked off the month by getting out our Christmas cards. |
 |
| December 6 was the feast of St. Nicholas and the kids got a paintable nutcracker in their stocking. (Well, Gus did. Lu got some headbands because Amazon hadn't delivered the nesting nativity dolls mom ordered for her in time.) |
 |
| On December 13, we (sorta) celebrated Santa Lucia Day. |
 |
Our community group had a gingerbread house making party as our last event of the year.
|
 |
| Luci meticulously added candies to the roof one by one. |
