December

Lighting the first candle to mark the beginning of Advent.
December was a busy, fun-filled month at the CoHo...
In addition to our trip to Disneyland and Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, we had a lot going on this month! One of our favorite activities was a live nativity at a church in Santa Clara (which we didn't get any pictures of--but it involved a camel, donkey, the whole shebang). It will definitely be a tradition.
We kicked off the month by getting out our Christmas cards.

December 6 was the feast of St. Nicholas and the kids got a paintable nutcracker in their stocking. (Well, Gus did. Lu got some headbands because Amazon hadn't delivered the nesting nativity dolls mom ordered for her in time.)

On December 13, we (sorta) celebrated Santa Lucia Day.

Our community group had a gingerbread house making party as our last event of the year.

Luci meticulously added candies to the roof one by one.
