Toledo
We ended up skipping La Mancha--well, we drove through but didn't stop in any towns to see the windmills. We turned in the car in Toledo (good riddance; we've discovered we prefer planes and trains to automobiles) and headed to a museum. Honestly I can't even remember what the name was. It had ceramics. And El Greco. And a very talented artist who was friends with Pablo Neruda (a risque Chilean poet), but that's about all I could pick up since everything was in Spanish.

The cathedral at night as viewed from the rooftop terrace of our hostel.

Ronda, Granada and the Man of La Mancha
Are You Going to Finish That Tomato?
I mentioned that while in Gibraltar, we had fish and chips. It was a big heavy meal, and so when we were talking about dinner that night, I told Adam that I really didn´t want much. Maybe I´d share something with him. A bit of foreshadowing: when I share things with Adam, I try to give him at least two thirds, or maybe three fifths.
We stopped into this pub that had beer taps on the table with running meters showing how much you've had, which I thought was totally awesome and wanted to see in action. And then I ordered a red wine. But I made Adam have beer so that I could take pictures of the process for this blog.
Because I´m here to serve you.

Pictures from Spain
This is on the roof of Casa Mila (the Gaudi apartment building in Barcelona) to the left of me, you can see the Sagrada Familia (the four funky spires).

Here we are on Monte Urgull with San Sebastian in the background.
