March

And then there were five...

March was dedicated to getting to know our newest family member, Greger. He's a sleepier baby than I remember the other two being. I suspect they may have measured him wrong at birth, but at his two week appointment, he'd grown nearly two inches. Some of that is definitely legitimate growth since his shoulders were quickly popping out of his newborn onesies.

He has quite a security detail. Any time he starts crying, I can hardly get to him as Gus, Luci and Kona all go rushing to him any time he makes a peep.

Gus is absolutely enamored with his little brother. He'd said that he wanted another sister when I was pregnant, but he's over that now. He almost cannot pull himself away from Greger,

Luci is a bit more skeptical. I think she's taking some time to process this change and what it means for the family. I know that sounds a little intense for a two year old...but that's our Lu. She does not want to be in the family pictures and she'll only touch Greger briefly to note that "he's soft."

Two days overdue; hours before labor began. Also, I think this is the only "bump" shot I got this pregnancy.

I'm not sure what was going on here, but it's one of the more flattering pics of me, so I'm posting it. I was incredibly bloated after this birth.
Gre was born at 2am, and the kids came to visit when they woke up.
After a little coaxing, she gives him sweet kisses.

Meanwhile Gus couldn't stop kissing him.

Gus was dancing all over the room.

Arriving home.

Luci didnt know exactly how to handle Greger's arrival, but she had picked up on the fact that everyone wanted pictures of the baby, so she gathered up all the toy cameras.

Heading out for his newborn check up. He was already piling the weight back on, but they had me nurse and re-weighed him just to see how much he was taking in. (Hint: He eats like a boss.)

The big kids were happy to have daddy hanging out with them while he was on paternity leave.
Nanny dog...I left the room to do something and returned to find Kona
So many pics of Gus snuggling Gre... he was constantly asking to hold him.

Playing in a box that a gift for Greger arrived in.

On a hike with daddy.

Caption this photo...

One of my favorite outfits. Greger is not convinced.

Hello world.
