Adam won a week at a beach house in Pajaro Dunes (on the coast between Santa Cruz and Monterey) in an auction for the March of Dimes at his work, so we enjoyed a beautiful week on the coast.
There was plenty of fun in the sand.
And a trip to Gizdich Ranch to pick some strawberries and raspberries.
Gus turned four while we were out the beach house, and we spent the day out at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the Dennis the Menace Park in Monterey.
On our last day, we went on a whale watching excursion. We got lucky and saw around twenty whales that day as well as a shark and several other sea creatures.
Sunsets from the beach house's living room were amazing!
