Gus is on to my parenting techniques. I read about how it helps to give kids choices as long as you make sure that both the choices are acceptable. So I'm putting Gus to bed, and he tells me, "mom, you can stay for one minute, or you can not go."
I love seeing him love his sister. When they see each other after they've been in separate classes. Or when he asks for her to stay with him.
He still loves being a pirate--it's a frequent theme around here.
Lulu is a force. She is stubborn, adventurous, and passionate. And she still says about four words, so she communicates by grabbing your hand and pulling you someplace, screaming, and offering kisses when you've pleased her.
