The big news in May was that Lucia took her first steps! She's still unsteady, but she's practicing, practicing. She also added a couple new words to her repertoire: She continued saying "yeah" to most questions you ask her (which is a fun way to amuse yourself) and also started saying "done." Sometimes vehemently. The first time she realized we understood her when she said that, she flashed the biggest most excited smile. Like FINALLY she was able to communicate.

Backpack + vacuum hose = leaf blowing gear. He's officially a gardener.

Meanwhile, Gus continued to serenade us on his guitar and impress us with his ability to remember things we thought he hadn't noticed and repeat them back at inopportune times. He gets a lot of comments on his curls and his gift of gab. He's quite conversational for a two and a half year old.
