Honorary Aussies

Some friends from Down Under threw an Australia Day party, and we were required to wear something "uniquely Australian."

Adam decided to dress up for a walkabout. Here he is with our host.


I was a bit more subtle (my "badge" depicting Vegemite on a beach with an Australian flag).



We were also given some Aussie Qs and As and told to go find the people who had the corresponding half of our factoid. A great party idea, and I now know that the Australian year of Federation was 1901 and that Waltzing Matilda is considered the unofficial anthem of Australia.


The majority of the guests were Australian, and I had to fight the urge to try to imitate their accents all night long...
