San Sebastian is mucho gorgeous.
And now I have a sunburn.
We rode a funicular to the top of a moutain at one end of the bay that had some amazing views and took a ton of pictures, sat on the beach for a couple of hours and wandered around the streets.
I love beach towns.
Our arrival in San Seb.

The view from the hostel we stayed in which was a couple kilometers outside of town.

I love me a funicular.

San Sebastian was my absolute FAVORITE place in Spain, second only to Madrid. I just have one recommendation - you might want to skip the Txu Txu tourist tram that drives through the city. I was so sick from smelling all the exhaust fumes from the motorcycles and cars that were next to our "open air" seating that I about passed out. Ha ha - it made for quite the memory though. I am so glad you guys are having such a great time and experience there and it was very sweet of you to call. Like my hubby said on the phone his family's last name is Exeberria and there is actually a bar on one of the streets named that. His grandpa was born here but his great grandpa Domingo came over in the early 1900's and left family so there still are cousins in that area. We'd love to get over there ourselves at some point. We look forward to your next post of your adventures!
